How is storage priced?
By the actual volume your goods occupy, charged monthly at a fixed rate quoted upfront. If you release items mid-term, we re-measure and your rate comes down. Collection, wrapping and re-delivery are quoted once as part of the same agreement.
Is there a minimum storage period?
One month. Beyond that, storage runs month to month for as long as you need — two weeks’ notice is all we ask for re-delivery scheduling at busy month-ends.
Can I access my goods while they are in storage?
Yes, by appointment. Because goods are professionally wrapped and stacked for protection, we arrange access visits with a day’s notice so items can be safely reached and re-wrapped afterwards.
Are my goods insured in storage?
Storage cover is available for the full replacement value of your inventory, alongside the Goods-in-Transit cover that protects collection and re-delivery. Your relocation manager will document values at intake.
What can’t be stored?
Perishables, plants, fuels, hazardous materials and live anything. High-value jewellery, documents and currency should remain with you — we’ll flag them at intake rather than store them.
Can you deliver my stored goods to another city?
Yes. Stored households are regularly re-delivered to Cape Town, Durban and beyond as part of a long distance relocation — stored in Gauteng, delivered wherever life takes you next.
